 Present your completed manuscript directly to publishers!

This event is a fantastic opportunity for any author with a finished manuscript to meet publishers and pitch their novel.

Representatives from Goose Lane Editions, Askance Publishing, Merlin Star Press, and Partridge Island Publishing will be present to listen to your pitches.

Each author will have 5 minutes to present their manuscript, so be sure to prepare an engaging presentation.

This event is free, but participants must register in advance, as we can only accommodate a limited number of presenters.

To register, please email amanda@partridgeislandpublishing with the following information:
- Name
- Manuscript title
- Genre
- Word count
- Comparable titles

Purchase a book by a local author to receive a ballot. 

Review a book on Goodreads, Fable, or Amazon and send us a screenshot, and you’ll receive three additional ballots.

**Guidelines:**

- Books must be written by Atlantic Canadian authors.

- Reviews must be posted on or after May 12, 2025.

- The book can only be reviewed once per person.

- The winner will be drawn on September 20, 2025.

**Ballot Breakdown:**

- 1 book = 1 ballot

- 1 review on Goodreads, Amazon, or Fable = three ballots (Please email your screenshot to amanda@partridgeislandpublishing.ca.)

Reviews do not need to be positive; they need to be honest. 

- Reviews must be submitted between March 12 and September 19, 2025. 

- It must be the first review written by the entrant for that particular book.

- The author must be an Atlantic Canadian author.

- The books do not have to be purchased from The Write Cup Bookstore Café to be eligible for review ballots.
